JIT Stocking Program
For many OEMs, keeping stock on the floor without shortages is an ongoing challenge. Running out of even the most common raw materials or parts can cost the loss of an existing or potential customer, and require purchasers to scramble to purchase them at very high prices. As a customer, if you are always alloy, stainless or free cutting steel long products and are struggling to keep up with the demand, Dhiraj Alloy & Stainless Steel's just-in-time (JIT) stocking program may be the perfect solution.
JIT programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. We begin by developing a list of products/sizes that are regularly purchased, along with estimated usage rates. Then working with the customer, we agree upon a purchase order with a set contract time period and a not-to-exceed value. An agreed upon stocking location is chosen.
By shifting materials management responsibilities to Dhiraj Alloy & Stainless Steel, our customers can stop worrying about regularly purchased products, freeing up additional time for planners, buyers, expediters, and warehouse personnel. This program can simplify the vendor base, lower freight costs, and — most importantly — eliminate stock outs.
